Join us for Amplifier Community Connections’ October event with guest Marcus McFarlin (@marcuseldermac), who was in the Amplifier cohort in 2021. Since then, he’s been on the road in the hit stage play Hood Book with gospel legend Fred Hammond and written for Bishop Marvin L. Sapp. In conversation with Amplifier Director Chad “C-Note” Roper, McFarlin will discuss:
- His journey to success
- Getting into the music industry
- Writing and producing for other artists
- The business of live performing
- The art of collaboration
- The transition from being an artist to songwriter to stage play actor
The event is FREE and open to the public at Radio Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point studios. Seating will be limited, so RSVP today! The event will also be streamed live on Radio Milwaukee’s and Amplifier’s Facebook pages.

Accessible industry mentorship.
Committed to Milwaukee.

In addition to the monthly Community Connections, Amplifier will continue to build individual relationships with artists through weekly virtual office hours on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. During office hours, artists can ask questions about their career and the music industry.
